Buy in Broadland Scheme

The Buy in Broadland discount voucher booklet has been launched and we are excited to be part of the scheme for the second year in a row.

Yesterday Eastern Financial consultants joined local business people and councillors at Pirate Island Adventure Golf at Norfolk Premier Golf in Blofield to mark the launch of the scheme’s second year.

The Buy in Broadland discount voucher booklet has been distributed to every household in the district alongside the annual council tax information. This years booklet includes 96 great discounts and offers which can be used in Broadland’s shops, cafe’s, attractions, local services and more.

Kate Tritton (Relationship Manager) and Victoria Lawrence (PA to Chartered Financial Planner Chris Yates) attended the launch with Cllr Stuart Clancy and Hamish Melville, Head of Economic Development at Broadland District Council, along with representatives from some of the other participating businesses: Grant Pointer of Norfolk Premier Golf, Lesley George of Humpty Dumpty Brewery, Barbara Greasley of Broads Tours, Jill Willis of Country Markets, Elizabeth Lake of Elizabeth Lake Languages and Stephen Yaxley of Surface Repair Solutions.

The voucher booklet was first launched in March 2017 and the council has received positive feedback from participating businesses who have met new customers thanks to the scheme. Cllr Stuart Clancy, portfolio holder for economic success at Broadland District Council said:

“We were delighted to receive so much good feedback from businesses and residents so were very pleased to be able to run the scheme again. Our district is full of excellent shops, cafes, attractions and traders which make the area a great place to live and work. The discount voucher booklet aims to help these businesses thrive and to help residents to explore and enjoy their district whilst saving some money along the way”.

Last year we helped many Broadland residents with Pension and Investment advice using their voucher and the feedback couldn’t be more positive, one client said:

“I used my Buy in Broadland voucher to get some pensions advice – Simon was able to help me with retirement planning and able to provide appointments to fit in with my work. It was really worthwhile & I’d recommend that people go and speak to them”
